Sony MDR-XB300 Headphones

|
An audiophile, is a hobbyist who seeks high-quality audio reproduction via the use of specialized high-end audio electronics.

(DISCLAIMER) I do not claim to have a compulsion for the highest possible quality in audio listening. That being said,
I do totally enjoy a well made pair of headphones that have
a massively robust sound. The thing is, I am not earning money in the production of audio, to the point that I need a pair of Sennheiser HD 800's that have a price tag of $1399.99 .

However, While window shopping at the Sony Style USA store, while visiting a friend in the Hamptons, I discovered quite by happenstance, a pair of headphones that looked rather comfy, that might drown out all ambient sounds.
So, I walked over to them, and tried them on. The demo pair was connected to a music source.

I have to tell you, that I was BLOWN.... A-WAY, by the crisp sound coming out of the MDR-XB300
headphone set. Well at this point, I am gesturing to one of the store clerks from across the room,
that I want a pair, done deal. He smiled, and went to the back and took a rather long time to return.
When he did come out from the back room, while holding a new pair enclosed in a box, he said, 2 left.
Everyone wants these, we have been selling them like crazy. My response was to wrap it up, I'll take it.

All you need to know is that they sound phenomenal, and they are made sturdy, and the wire doesn't
give you a painful experience at all. Carefully thought out overall design. What else would you possibly
want. Did I mention I paid under $30.00 ? In fact, as of today, the price on Amazon is $27.68
with free shipping.
